After a successful evaluation, SupplyLogic built a custom marketing execution solution for NVI that users can quickly and efficiently access, customize (to a store level), and requisition materials. It includes two full-time subject matter experts who will work out of the Duluth headquarters, backed up by a national team of shared services, software experts, business analysts, and pre-certified suppliers. SupplyLogic can now absorb all staff costs with right-sized dedicated and shared teams that flex with demand and seasonality, and NVI can focus on higher-value tasks. The solution includes a single unified e-commerce web portal allowing NVI retail employees to order high-quality operational documents and collateral faster at a lower cost. In addition to a 20 percent savings on marketing execution costs for four years, the deal will provide NVI with a more focused retail operation – one freed from managing indirect supply orders – and more consistent customer brand experiences. It will also offer real-time performance analytics to NVI marketing executives with full transparency on spend across banners, stores, and campaign-increased cash flow. NVI has doubled its stores to 1,200+ since the partnership with SupplyLogic began. Above all, the solution streamlines NVI’s marketing production so that the business can continue to expand its retail base, confident that processes will scale accordingly.
