National Vision Signs Four-year Marketing Execution Contract with SupplyLogic

March 15, 2015- Julie O'Hara

SupplyLogic, a privately held brand delivery firm, has signed a managed services partnership with Georgia-based National Vision, Inc. (NVI), one of the nation’s largest optical retail providers. The contract places a substantial portion of NVI’s marketing production spending over four years directly under SupplyLogic’s management to support local retail teams with brand graphics.

The deal will also provide NVI with a more-focused retail operation, freed from managing indirect supply orders, and more consistent customer brand experiences, while providing real-time performance analytics to NVI marketing executives.

”We are excited to be moving forward with SupplyLogic,” Bruce Steffey, President and COO said. “It’s the type of partnership we seek, that becomes a contributor to aiding us in the delivery of our corporate mission, which is to help people, by making quality eye care and eyewear more affordable and accessible,” he concluded.

“As NVI expands its retail footprint, SupplyLogic stands right beside them, making sure their business scales properly to support deep penetration of each territory they serve,” said Kevin Sherlock, Founder and CEO, SupplyLogic. “Our flawless execution of their growth strategy will help take NVI to the next level of brand management.”

After a successful evaluation, SupplyLogic is building a custom marketing execution solution for NVI. It includes two full-time subject matter experts who will work out of the Duluth headquarters, backed up by a national team of shared services, software experts, business analysts and pre-certified suppliers. It will also include a single unified e-commerce Web portal allowing NVI retail employees to order operational documents and collateral, and receive them better, faster and at lower-cost. The SupplyLogic experts will recommend further innovations through deep visibility into operational data.

As marketing and procurement leaders work to drive results and value for their business, the print and marketing supply chain can be easily overlooked. A small minority of these supply chains are fully optimized – representing a big opportunity for brands to streamline costs and optimize budget allocation.
